HAZEL is a two-year-old tiger and calico female cat. She was found in a residential neighborhood, and trundling along behind her were her five kittens, four of which were rag dolls! That told us right away this young girl was unique. A neighbor had recognized her from the neighborhood, and suspected her former home had not provided the best of care for her, and ultimately abandoned her. This kindly neighbor took her in and fostered her, and she blossomed under her care and ministrations. Hazel was a great mom, and now that all her kittens have found loving homes, it’s Hazel’s turn! She is very sweet, and very happy being in a home. She’s petite, with a distinctive and unique facial mask, and soft fur. She loves to play with her favorite white mouse, and we can’t wait until she finds her forever home…we suspect she’s going to be a great feline companion!

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and a fecal test.
