My partner and I foster cats for PAAWS RI. After our last foster, Cooper, was adopted we met a fluffy 4-month-old nugget while volunteering at the shelter. Our hearts melted! CAT ADOPTION ALERT:  FIGGY –DID YOU SAY BEAUTIFUL CALICO? THAT’S ME!

FIGGY is a five-year-old dilute calico female cat. Though we don’t know the whole story, we suspect that Figgy’s young owner returned to her parents’ home, and Figgy could not tolerate the change. Calicos tend to be oriented most strongly to their owner(s); neither Figgy nor the other residents of the home were able to foster a bond with each other.
