ESME is a four-year-old long-haired grey tabby female cat. At first glance, Esme is so fluffy you could mistake her for a Maine Coon! A kindly individual took Esme in when she was younger, for Esme was expecting kittens, and she was so very thin, suffering from malnutrition, and generally unkempt. Unfortunately, Esme’s residence has two other cats that will just not accept Esme, and tend to bully her. Despite her experience with cats that don’t like her, Esme still loves other cats, and will head butt them to get their attention to play with her! She loves to play with any toy that is attached to a string, and is very sweet when playing and being held. Look into Esme’s bright and stunning eyes, and you will be lost. If you have room in your heart and home for a misplaced young lady, come meet Esme!

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and a fecal test.

Esme is such a beautiful cat, I have been looking for a cat just like Esme for over a year and I would be honored to be her guardian and give her a very loving, caring, Happy Forever Home. She will be the only kitty in my home. She will get all my attention. I am disabled from spine problems, I can do anything that I need to. My Dr. told me I need more exercise and I would love to give Esme all my Attention. I have cared for a variety of companions from baby Robins, 100s of rabbits, timber wolf/Malamute hybrids, a Maine Coon cat, cockatiels. I have tamed ferrell cats, nursed a Hawk
back to good health and released him at the Audubon Society, 2 very affectionate Chinese Geese that I nursed and raised from chicks, mice hamsters, a few dogs, an 80 gallon brackish water fish tank, and more! Please consider me to be Esme’s Companion for life. All my animals lived with me for life, I found Loving Homes for some of my Rabbits, there were just too many to keep them all. I Want to take care of her so much!
