PAAWS RI Adoption Center

PAAWS RI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2011 to address the demands of the local community to provide medical, surgical, and rehabilitative services to animals who need care and shelter before being adopted out to loving homes.

All animals who come into our shelter or foster homes are taken-in by loving, skilled staff and volunteers, and provided with the very best care available through our generous donors and partners. In addition to medical attention for any injuries or illnesses that they may have, all animals receive: spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, three distemper vaccinations, flea treatment, de-worming, and microchipping, prior to being placed in a new home. All applicants are screened in an effort to ensure the happiest, healthiest forever home environments for our animal friends, and we enjoy lifetime partnerships with our new pet owners.

Please feel free to fill-out an application, to peruse our adoption candidate profiles below, and to come to the shelter often to visit, as we have new arrivals each week. Come fall in love; our friends will appreciate the extra attention!

Hi! My fiancé and I are recently visited Paaws RI. We were so amazed at the wonderful care and love given to EVERY cat. We have been thinking about fostering cats for some time but decided that we would like to foster cats that have special needs. So, do you need fosters and what is your process in becoming a foster kitty parents?
I previously worked in a rescue and was involved in helping special need cats prepare for living in a home…I would love to begin this again! We have two Egyptian maus who LOVE other cats and are great at showing special kitties the ropes.
Have a wonderful day and thank you to EVERYONE at Paaws for what you do everyday!

Yes! We’re always looking for fosters. We have a number of cats looking for a special foster family like yourself! A quick conversation and some paperwork will get you started. Feel free to stop by during our open house every saturday, 10-12, or message us on facebook!

I would like to know more about being a foster home but more about adoption. Like to know what the fees may be? Thank you for any help you can give.

        Mark.
